(Extremely Staind voice) It’s been a whiiiiile… since I gone and updated this site, just like I rarely do. Ok, enough with the butt rock. I said in October that I’d be updating with some big news soon… then 5 months went by in the blink of an eye. Long story short- I started a new job. I’m working as a software engineer contractor for a large financial services company. It’s been rewarding and challenging and busying. But I still managed to find some time today for updates!

Coding

All of my coding lately has been for my new gig. I’m working heavily in Vue and upgrading a gigantic project from Vue 2 to 3. It’s been a tedious effort but the days go by very quickly which is great.

Writing

I had quite a few articles appear on The Hard Times since my last check in. My favorite of these is Opinion: I’ll Fight in the Class War for Whichever Side Pays Me More. It’s very cathartic to just write as a totally self-absorbed asshole. I don’t know what that says about me.
